SWEGHEIMER ADDS ON ANOTHER OFFER
Class of 2018 Boone Defensive End Jay Swegheimer has picked up his fourth offer from Army. Swegheimer has previously received offers from Florida Atlantic University, Southern Illinois University and Fordham University. Although Swegheimer has no stars according to 247sports.com, he may very well be the most slept on high school football player in the state. Standing at 6'5 and weighing 220 lbs. He is quick off the ball and shows a quickness and explosiveness you rarely see out of a high school football player. Not to mention, Swegheimer shows great pass rushing techniques and has a great motor. This shows in his Junior Year as he racked up 14.5 sacks, 13 tackles for loss and 9 swats in a 6-5 year for Boone High School out of Orlando, Florida. When Swegheimer was asked if he pays attention to the rankings and if he carries the underdog mentality because of it, he replied, "I don't bring an underdog mentality because I like to think of myself just like JJ Watt thinks of himself which is the baddest man out there and I don't just think it, I believe it." Swegheimer will be a player to look out for this upcoming season as he very well could make some noise not only in Orlando but in the state of Florida.
